Harold Dean Davis, great-great-great grandson of Samuel and Lydia Fitzhugh, sent information to the Davidson County Cemetery Survey project on September 20, 2005, with photographs of the new tombstones placed in the Fitzhugh Cemetery during 2005.   Inscriptions of the new tombstones were as follows:
