R.C. Pirtle (Robert Cooke Pirtle) Will recorded in Davidson County, TN., Will Book 34, Page 446, dated March 3, 1898. Probated April 5, 1898.  Robert C. Pirtle was married to Ursulia Caroline Earles about 1845, in White County, Tennessee.  S. B. Pirtle (Samuel B. Pirtle) was a son of Robert C. Pirtle.
