PRIDE-EAKES CEMETERY

HE-66:  DAVIDSON-WILSON COUNTY LINE.  Lynn Drive

Hilda H. Barnes sent information on the Pride-Eakes Cemetery, located off Central Pike, on Lynn Drive, near the Davidson-Wilson County line.  This information was sent on August 1, 2005, with the request that the tombstone inscriptions in this graveyard be included in the Davidson County Cemetery Survey project because many buried there were from Davidson County and because its location is very close to the Davidson County line.  Hilda H. Barnes’ great grandmother Mary Bradford Hughes, a resident of Davidson County,  was buried in this cemetery.
