UNNAMED CEMETERY (REMOVED OR DESTROYED)
KI-14: NASHVILLE, DAVIDSON COUNTY, TN. Highway 96
In 2003, the removal or destruction of a cemetery was reported to the Davidson County Cemetery Survey project. The report stated that on the vacant land, there had been a small cemetery with a stone wall surrounding a few tombstones. According to the eyewitness, after the construction of a new house, the cemetery was no longer visible.
This situation was reported to the State Archaeologist.
