Research into deeds for Gambill family property along Old Hickory Blvd.  Fletch Coke. August 2012
From deed research in the area of LA-09 Gambill Cemetery & LA-16 Holloway Cemetery, it was learned from a Procession of W.H.B. Gambill's land by Erle Drake, Country Surveyor, in 1935, that the land once was the property of James Holloway and later the Moore family.  Identified in Davidson County Court Minute Book 5, page 14,  "it was agreed that the graveyard near the house containing about 30 feet square is reserved for the use of any of the descendants of James Holloway, deceased."
