SITE SURVEYED AUGUST 26, 2004
According to information provided by neighbors to the Davidson County Cemetery Survey, it was learned that for many years the cemetery was associated with the Maple Grove Church which was an African-American church. The church building is no longer standing. One of the neighbors, a resident of the area for 60 years, remembered that only three burials had taken place in this cemetery during those past 60 years.
