Williams Cemetery (River Road) Under Study

BE-61:  NASHVILLE, DAVIDSON COUNTY, TN.  Under Study

In April 2013, Joanna Pace, Williams descendant, sent an email inquiry to the Davidson County Cemetery Survey website.  The inquiry concerned the location of a Williams Cemetery on River Road where four family members were buried:  Lenice Connor Williams (Died 1940), Alva Williams (Died 1952), Edward Williams (Died 1958), Randle Williams (Died 1951). Lenice's mother Zerelda Connor was buried in Nashville City Cemetery.

Research on death certificates and burial records was undertaken by Fletch Coke.

Eastland Funeral Home purchased Pettus & Owen. On May 6, 2013, Mr. Tim Kernell, Eastland Funeral Home, scanned the Funeral records for Randle Bond Williams, buried 1951, and Alva Williams, buried 1952. Place of burial for each person was Williams Cemetery on River Road.  

In May 2013, a request was made to Bob Allen and the Bellevue Cemetery Project for assistance in locating the Williams Cemetery on River Road.  When available, additional entries about this cemetery will be posted on the Davidson County Cemetery Survey website.
